Career journey
Dhawn DiMarino's professional journey began at Allen Bradley (now Rockwell Automation), where she worked from 1978 to 1985 across a wide range of roles — from building PC boards to material moving and stock work. It was a formative experience that gave her an early, hands-on understanding of the computer age and its impact on the world. After welcoming her first child in 1985, she stepped back from the workforce to raise her family, a season of life that included volunteering in schools, serving as a teacher aide, and working part-time. In 2002, she returned to full-time work as a medical biller for a private doctor's office, spending 17 years handling lab and hospital billing while helping patients navigate their insurance needs with care and patience.
Client care, every day
Dhawn joined Transcend Wealth in 2019 and has been a vital part of the firm since its early days. As the first point of contact for many clients, she is known for her warmth, kindness, and genuine passion for helping others — making sure every person who walks through the door feels welcomed and cared for. As a Client Service Associate, she handles the full arc of client paperwork, from preparation through processing and follow-up with the brokerage, ensuring clients are informed and supported every step of the way. Working alongside Dennis and her colleagues to help the firm grow and deliver expert financial guidance is, in her own words, a privilege.
Beyond the office
When she's not at work, family comes first — especially time with her grandchildren, whose journey she follows with the same joy and investment she brought to raising her own children. She and her husband love the beach, exploring local wineries, and day trips to Amish country, with plans to expand their adventures to hiking, cruises, and more. Closer to home, Dhawn is an enthusiastic fan of Cleveland's basketball, baseball, and football teams, enjoys crafting and baking, and stays active in her church community as a lector and regular contributor to parish events.
